Off to Paso Robles, stay tuned....

After a 6.30am 4 mile run, I'm headed out to Paso Robles.

Paso Robles is located in San Luis Obispo, in between Los Angeles and San Francisco. It's a 4 hr drive from the Westside. Paso is a great place for a weekend wine tasting getaway; the wine producers are smaller and more intimate than the ones in Napa.

We are staying here in Morro Bay, just a bit south of Paso Robles. Hmmmm... walking distance to surf... We'll see if I can squeeze that in somehow.

Our Itinerary is as follows, it's a bit aggressive so we'll see...
Sat:
Nedeau
Tablas Creek
Justin
Clayhouse
Dinner @ Panolivo

Sun:
Brunch @ Artisan Bistro
wineries TBD dependent on how much we drink the night before

See ya in a couple days...

Oh! I am so jealous!

Yes of the wineries (I really meant to hit Tablas Creek when I was there and didn't) but more so of Artisan.

Do you have a reservation for brunch? You might double check if you need one, we foolishly tried to have dinner there without a reservation and were told it was over a two hour wait. Looking at the food, I understood - but next time we're making reservations!

yep! we had reservations at Artisan. The food was delicious, will be posting something soon! You should definitely check it out when you are next there.

I have been fortunate enough to get reservations at Artisan Bistro on several occasions and it is an outstanding restaurant. From the moment you walk in until you depart you get pampered. No need to go to the city anymore for this caliber of cuisine and at very reasonable prices. Make reservations and enjoy!

Yes Dylan, I'll be sure to be a bit more prepared the next time and make a reservation MUCH earlier. Although wouldn't over a month in advance be enough????!?! oh well...
