(Very limited) Scenes from Maui

Got back from Maui last weekend for the worlds shortest Hawaii trip. We arrived Thursday evening, and left Sunday morning. Seems like a short trip but I still managed to pack in 3 days of surf, two 5.5 mile runs, paddle boarding, a luau and lots of mimosas.

I stayed on the West side of Maui, at Ka'anapali Beach.

Our hotel, the Sheraton had amazing resort facilities including well manicured gardens, the best snorkel section at Black Rock, spa and swimming lagoon with slides and waterfalls. Unfortunately, the rooms were old and mediocre, and the gym sucked with only 3 treadmills and individual TVs that were not hooked up.

Hotel restaurant bar where we spent some time in.

Inclusive with room charge, you get complimentary breakfast (excludes alcohol). My daily breakfast included lots of carbs and mimosas. And their papayas were really sweet and juicy.

Stay tuned for more Hawaiian food posts...
